I have more than 15 to 20 Lincoln and Mercury owned rooted in the past almost thirty years and never had a problem. But when plugging May have disconnected the battery, and at the end of your personal code, but the factory code should always remain. Make sure you enter the code correctly, then go, when back on the bench.

My grandfather had Towncar to 1992, I have a friend with a Grand Marquis 94 (both those who had the keyboard) and I have one in 1997 Crown Vic LX () without a keyboard, but) the (changing to distance. The system power control in all 3 lock and left alone, because the stupid idea of cabling engineers in the ignition system. Well, do not work the locks. I doubt that the candle has nothing on this matter, because these cars are notorious for this problem, and I think that in some years there were errors in the code.
